Program
Three Day Program
Day One: Arrival for Lunch. Evening Birding
around the house.
Day Two: Depart at 04:00 AM for Neliyampathy
Hills. Arrival at 0615 AM Birding around the Forest Department
Guest House area. Breakfast at the Guest House. A trek down the
guest Road (5 km). Back to the Guest house for lunch. Late afternoon
more birding in the area. Return to Tharavad for dinner.
Day Three: Depart at 0530 AM for the Parambikulam
National Park. Breakfast at the park. A Birding trek through the
park. Lunch at the park canteen. Proceed to Top Slip for more
Birding. Evening return to Tharavad for dinner.
Day Four: Depart after Breakfast.
Four Day Program:
First three days same as above.
Day Four: Depart at 0400 AM to Siruvani Lake
area. Arrival at 0600 AM. Birding around the Forest Bungalow area.
Breakfast at the bungalow. Trek through the forest with Tribal
Guide. Return for lunch. After rest more birding in the evening
before returning to Tharavad.
Five Day Program:
First four days same as above.
Day Five: At 0615 set out to Walayar Dam area
to bird the marsh areas. Return to Tharavad for lunch. Afternoon
at leisure. Evening birding in ponds of the paddies.
